Application Procedure
Open to all students, male or female, grades 8-12. Students should fill out the Network Student Information form and return it to the Network Advisor at their home school.
Dates
Individually arranged any time September through April, though there is also the possibility to host during Summer Phase, which takes place from the end of July through August.

General Information
First and foremost, St. Benedict’s is a community of kids and adults who unite around the purpose of education of the mind, heart and soul. We are an ethnically and racially diverse school community that resembles the neighborhoods around us in Newark, NJ. Our students, who come from all socioeconomic and faith backgrounds, learn to lead one another in all aspects of school life. They make consequential decisions in the daily running of the place that puts responsibility in their hands, all the while participating in a college prep curriculum.

Living Arrangements and Travel
Network exchange students live with the families of St. Benedict’s students. Visits may be arranged to New York City and the New Jersey shore, each of which is less than an hour’s ride away. Out-of-pocket expenses may include lunch in the school cafeteria and occasional fees, depending on courses.
Visiting students should fly into Newark Liberty International Airport only. Other N.Y. airports involve complicated and expensive arrangements.
Students traveling from the Northeast region may also elect to take Amtrak into Newark Penn Station.
