Living Arrangements and Travel

Network students will live in the homes of Augusta Prep School host families. Students should fly into Augusta Regional Airport (where they will be greeted by their host family and the Director of Global Travel, Tara Chokshi) and bring spending money for extracurricular activities, souvenirs, and possible day/weekend trips with their host family.

Augusta Preparatory Day School

Martinez, Georgia

General Information

Augusta Prep exists to educate well-rounded, engaged students who embrace personal responsibility, global perspective, and service to others. We develop the intellect, talents, and character of each student in a diverse, college-preparatory, non-sectarian, and welcoming community of lifelong learners. Our caring faculty challenge our students to reach their maximum potential.

We are a community for the curious and creative, and we work to cultivate graduates of character, culture, and compassion. We are a true independent school, as we are a not-for-profit and have no affiliation to any religious denomination (non-sectarian). We welcome everyone.

Our motto is, β€œTo be, rather than to seem.” We want our graduates to be successful, not only in college, but in their careers, callings, and communities. We have been developing great graduates from the Augusta, Martinez, Evans, Thomson, North Augusta, and Aiken areas for over 60 years. #prep4life

Programs

All exchange programs are individually arranged for a duration of a few days to two weeks. Augusta Prep will strive to design an experience tailored to each visiting student.  We have a rich curriculum with a variety of academic offerings and lots of choices in electives, including the performing and visual arts.  Of particular interest are the engineering, arts, and robotics programs. Students can even have a hands-on experience in our motorsports engineering program, where they can take part in building a race cart!
